Hi, Jerzy here, one half of Clumsy Bear Studio, and I'm absolutely buzzing (and also completely terrified) to share this with you all. 

It’s been a long day… week… year even, but we finally have something to show you! The super early alpha of Hungry Horrors (first two biomes) is now live on Itch!

This is our first-ever game as a studio, and let me tell you, getting it to this point has been a wild ride. Hungry Horrors is a turn-based roguelite deckbuilder where you feed monsters from British and Irish folklore. It’s a game about strategy, about managing your deck, and about making sure the monstrous Buggane doesn’t decide you’re on the menu instead.

What’s in this prototype?

Right now, you can dive into the core gameplay loop, building your deck, feeding the creatures, and trying to make it through alive. It’s still in its early days, but the heart of the game is there. If you like card games, folklore, and a bit of dark humour, you’re in the right place.

What’s next?

We’re already working on a ton of updates and improvements, bringing new content and mechanics to Hungry Horrors. Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming:
